In an effort to help Dyllon get in shape for wrestling season this fall we purchased this.

I, having lost my mind, have agreed to do it with him. We are procrastinating and waiting until the 9th of August to start it. We have good reason to wait. We not be home 2 day this week and Dyllon will not be home for 4 days of the next week. You are not supposed to skip days.....so we are waiting. I just realized that I will start the pain on my Anniversary. Nice planning!

Past 2 Weeks

I lost 4.4 pounds in the last 2 weeks! Also, 6.5 inches total off my waist, bust, abdomen and hips. The next two weeks I will boost my cardio from 20 minutes to 30 minutes to keep the results coming. Hope everyone else is doing well with their goals, too!

Week One Results

My first week was a success! I worked out 4 mornings (though I found that my Abs of Steel VHS was broken, so I ordered a new DVD: 10 Minute Solution Ab Blast) on the elliptical and stuck to my 1500 calorie diet even though me and all the kids were sick as dogs the whole week. Friday we all turned a corner and everyone is feeling much better now. The plan is to get all 5 days of exercise in this week... 30 minutes each day once I get my DVD in the mail.
So my reward for my hard work while I was sick was a 5 pound weight loss this week! 8 more to go until my first goal is reached.. I would love to see that happen in the next 2-3 weeks.

Update of sorts!

I don't think I've ever posted on here before, but I guess I'll give an update on my end of things and we can keep motivating each other!

Jamie, Erin, Mom, Dad and I are doing a Biggest Loser challenge for 2010. We divided it up into a series of 3 month challenges, one for each quarter of the year. So far I am winning but I think it's just because I gained a little bit over the holidays and then lost it pretty quick once the sweets binge died down! In any event, I'm down 3.79% so far so it is pretty nice to be down those 6.5 lbs in a month. And please, don't do the math to figure out my weight. I'm not brave enough to post all my real numbers like Mindy!! (who is doing fabulous, by the way. I wouldn't mind seeing pictures!)
I've been trying to eat better foods, more fruits and vegetables and whole grains and have smaller portions. And for exercise I'm really loving Jillian Michaels' 30-Day Shred. Jacob even did it with me today, it was a hoot.

Keep up the good work, everyone, and good luck to us all!! I'm going to a wedding in VA in two months at the end of March and hope to look a bit better for my friend's big day.

Back On Track

Okay, one of my best friends is getting married in May (in VA), so I am back on track to lose some serious weight before then. I want to look AWESOME when I go back and see old friends. I also want to go to some theme parks (Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens) and frankly, I won't fit comfortably into some rides at the size I'm at right now. (Or in a tiny plane seat, for that matter.)
So, I'm on a 1500 calorie diet/exercise plan. I started today and nailed it! I even stayed home all day and still didn't snack. (Our church got canceled b/c of a gas leak.)
My first goal is 13 pounds. This is leftover from the 22 pounds of my previous diet's first goal. So, I have kept 9 pounds off that I lost before. I am going to get up at 6:30am (I get Cristin's kids at 7:45am) and run on my elliptical for 20 minutes and also do a 10 minute ab workout tape I have. Abs of Steel. Oh yeah.
So, wish me luck, I'm a woman on a mission - my friend was supposed to get married in June, but moved it up to May, so I gotta get things done quick! My total goal before May is 30 pounds... a big number, but I can do it... right? ;)

Day 12

What the ..........I weighed in at 141.8 lbs.........only a .6 lbs loss. I even did the apple day. :0( I am just not dropping as fast anymore. I am however at the lowest point that I have been at. This puts the 9 day total at 8.2 lbs. Only 3.8 lbs to go until I reach my goal.

Day 11

UGH........142.4 lbs this morning. Only a .4lb loss. I was so good yesterday too! Have I ever told any one that I hate the lower 140's?? It is so hard for me to loss at this weight. Oh how I long to see a number that starts with 13_._. I hope that I can see that by the end of the week. This brings the 8 day total to 7.6 lbs. I think that I am going to do a apple day today to try and kick start the weightloss again.

The scale was not so nice to me today. I weighed in at 142.8 lbs, a .4 lb loss. This brings the 7 day total to 7.2 lbs. I had a few things going against me the last few days: The weekend, not getting enough water, worries about my lab......... I am going to be super good today. We are going to see a awesome loss tomorrow!

Not so good yesterday. I weighed in at 143.8 lbs this morning. Only a .2 lb loss. We should not have ate out last night. I just did not want to see anything raw yesterday. This brings the 5 day total to 6.2 lbs. Over half way to my goal of 12 lbs.

Day 7

Yippee Skippy! Today I weighed in at 144.0 lbs. That is a 2 lb loss. For a 4 day total of 6 lbs. I am worried about eating today. My lab is at 1:00. What if I puke? Am I going to feel like eating after? What to do?????

I am not sure of the calories, but I assume around 500-600
water was abot 80 oz

Yesterday was really hard. I had my 1st anatomy lab and it is in the middle of the day. I am not so much liking looking at the cadavers. It makes my tummy turn and my head light. Only 11 more labs to go. Not sure if I should eat before I go, but don't feel like eating after. I really did not eat until after 6:00 yesterday.

Day 6

This morning I weighed in at 146.0 lbs. A loss of .6 lbs for a 3 day total of 4 lbs. I wish that it was more today, but oh well. Hoping that tomorrow will be a better number. I am really nervous right now. I have my Human Anatomy lab tomorrow and I am really worried and stress about it. I hope that it is not effecting my weight loss.

Day 5

Today I weighed in at 146.6 lbs. A loss of 1.2 lbs and a 2 day loss of 3.2 lbs. Not to shabby. Could of been better though. I had a huge headache this morning and took some advil and a big glass of water. I forgot to weigh myself before. oopsies! I am not sure where the headache is coming from, could be a number of things: 1) the kids I watch, 2) Madison's off track, 3) My human Anatomy class that started yesterday, 4) staying up until midnight to watch the biggest loser and american idol, 5) only getting 500 calories, 6) maybe I need to up the HCG??? 7) The inversion?? I guess that I will watch my headache and see if it goes away.

So, after gorging myself for the last 2 days, I weight 150.0lbs. I really packed on the pounds the last 2 days! ;0) I am hoping to lose at least 12 lbs this go around. I am planning on exercising this time around. I have a Wii fit and I am going to be doing the yoga and strength training for 30 minutes a few times a week.

Disappointment

149.2 I am so upset with myself. How did I let myself get like this? I worked so hard to get this off. I have a few excuses. Dyllon stole my scale. I was not able to get on everyday to see my progress. I have been exercising, but I guess not enough. The stupid holiday cooking bit me in the butt........CRAP!

I guess that this is my new day one. I am going to do the HCG diet again, but this time only the 21 day program. Whose with me????
